My little town made the Washington Post, our second appearance in a big-time East Coast newspaper this fall (after last month’s New York Times piece on Ken Landon and his waterlily collection, which is mentioned in this article, too.) Goodness. My feelings are mixed about it all. I do wish the writing was a little less Yankee-fied (dude uses “caffeinated” as verb) but apparently he is a native son, so I guess I can’t criticize too much. At least he got the hell out when he had the chance. I heard that, man.
